The Chaplain Candidate Program (CHCP) is a Department of the Army recruiting, training, and education program for prospective chaplains to fill projected vacancies in the Regular Army and the Army Reserve.

We are so happy to announce the return to in-person Religious Support Practicum Opportunities an the United States Army Cadet Command, supporting the Advanced and Basic Cadet Summer Training Cycles. This opportunity is available for CHBOLC graduates. You will work under the supervision of an experienced Chaplain providing religious support to the future leaders of the Army! Please read MOI below, the list of opportunities, complete the 4187 and return to CH Emery, NL:T 09 MARCH 2021.

TRANSFERRING UNITS

During your Chaplain Candidate time, if you move and need a new unit of assignment, the "Readiness Division Deputy Command Chaplains" will be able to assist you. You can find the Divison Map and contact information here.

 

CONDUCT YOUR OWN RECORDS CHECK!

Every chaplain candidate should check their records at least once a year to ensure that all your authorized documents are uplaoded properly.  Please use this handout to conduct your own records check.  If something is missing, please email it to the Chaplain Candidate Manager so it can be uploaded into iPerms, your permanent document "warehouse."

 

DATA CORRECTNESS CAMPAIGN

The Army is currently moving from over 50 personnel and finance systems to one system of record, Integrated Pay and Personnel System-Army (IPPS-A)

In preparation for this momentous change, the Army has launched a "Data Correctness" Campaign and is asking everyone to check the records.  If they are not accurate, please be sure to work with your unit personnel to update them!
